WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH ME

My approach is soft, romantic, and completely centered around the candid moments that make your day feel like you. I gently guide you so everything feels calm and natural, giving you space to breathe and truly enjoy each part of your day. My editing style is timeless and classic, always true to color with a soft, dreamy touch, so your images feel warm, emotional, and beautifully real. I’m intentional with every detail, every glance, and every bit of magic, all while keeping your timeline organized in a way that keeps you relaxed.   WEDDING DAY TIMELINE GUIDE

A couple of months before your big day, I’ll send over a Timeline Questionnaire to help me shape a flow that feels true to your vision — something with intention, breathing room, and a beautifully paced rhythm that keeps your day feeling calm and effortless. If you already have a timeline started, I’d love to look it over with you to make sure it’s practical, realistic, and fits perfectly with your wedding package. Wedding days rarely run perfectly on time, and that’s completely okay. A little wiggle room keeps everything soft, dreamy, unrushed, and peaceful. I’ll also include sample timelines, both with a First Look and without one, so you can easily picture how your day can unfold in the way that feels most natural and magical to you.

GETTING READY TIPS

These simple little details make such a beautiful difference in your photos. Choosing a bright, clean room with lots of natural light sets the perfect tone, and keeping any clutter tucked to one side helps everything look clean and dreamy. Gather your details in one spot — it makes the morning flow so smoothly for those gorgeous detail photos! If hair and makeup can wrap up about 30–45 minutes before photos, you’ll have plenty of time to slip into your dress without feeling rushed. Go ahead and steam your gown early so it photographs flawlessly, and if you and your girls have matching robes or cute pajamas, they always look absolutely adorable in photos.

GOLDEN HOUR MAGIC

Golden Hour is truly where the magic happens. That soft, glowing light wraps around you like a warm hug, giving your photos the most romantic, dreamy feel. Right around sunset, we’ll slip away for about 10 to 15 minutes to capture those tender, golden-lit portraits that feel straight out of a love story. It’s the perfect moment to slow down, breathe, and share a few quiet minutes together, just the two of you. We can take a few moments during the reception for a quick walk, these glowing portraits almost always become some of everyone’s absolute favorite images of the entire day.

FAMILY PHOTOS GUIDE

Family photos are an important and meaningful part of your wedding day, and my goal is to make this time smooth, organized, and joy-filled. I have a general family photo list that we’ll go over together, and if you need anything added or customized beyond what’s on my list, we’ll make sure it’s included. I’ll also send you a questionnaire with the full list so you can review everything ahead of time and add any special groupings you’d love to have captured.

We’ll start with larger groups and then work our way down so no one is waiting longer than necessary. Keeping immediate family close by and ready helps everything move quickly and effortlessly.

If possible, choose a location with good natural light and plenty of space for everyone to gather comfortably. If you need help choosing a location I will GLADLY Help you. I’ll gently guide posing so everyone looks their best while still keeping things natural and relaxed. Family photos usually take about 20 to 30 minutes depending on your list, and when everyone is prepared, this part of the day flows beautifully.

Most importantly, don’t stress. I’ve got you. My goal is to keep this part simple, organized, and filled with smiles so you can get back to celebrating with your loved ones.

BRIDAL PARTY TIPS

Your bridal party plays such a special role in your day, and a few simple tips can help everything flow beautifully. Let your bridesmaids and groomsmen know ahead of time when photos will take place so everyone is ready, dressed, and nearby. I always recommend having bouquets delivered early and keeping personal items like phones, bags, and drinks tucked out of sight during photos so everything looks clean and polished.

If your bridesmaids can help fluff your dress, fix your veil, or keep an eye on small details, it makes the photo time feel effortless. Remind the guys to empty pockets so we don’t see keys, wallets, or phones in their photos. And of course, a little hype from your crew always brings out the best smiles and the most natural moments.

Most of all, encourage your bridal party to relax and have fun. Their energy sets the tone, and when everyone feels comfortable and present, the photos turn out beautifully. I’ll guide and organize everything so you don’t have to worry about a thing, leaving you free to soak in the joy with your favorite people.

CEREMONY

Your ceremony is the heart of your day, and a few thoughtful touches can make the photos even more magical. If possible, choose a spot with soft, even lighting or plenty of natural light so your photos look bright and dreamy. Ask your officiant to step slightly to the side during your first kiss. It seems small, but it makes that moment look clean and picture-perfect.

Encourage guests to stay seated or remain in their spots during the processional so they aren’t stepping into the aisle with phones or blocking your view. You can even request an unplugged ceremony if you want every moment captured beautifully without distractions. Walk slowly down the aisle and keep your eyes up so we can capture those sweet reactions and happy tears.

Most importantly, take a deep breath and be fully present. Let yourself soak in every word, every look, and every emotion. I’ll be capturing it all quietly and intentionally while you enjoy one of the most meaningful parts of your entire day.

RECEPTION

Your reception is where the fun truly blossoms, and a few simple tips can help everything flow smoothly while keeping your photos beautiful. If possible, chat with your DJ or coordinator about keeping the important moments close together, like your grand entrance, first dances, speeches, and cake cutting. This helps the night feel natural and lets me capture everything without missing a beat.

Good lighting makes a huge difference, so soft, warm lights, string lights, candles, or uplighting all help create a dreamy atmosphere in your photos. Try to keep dinner tables and the dance floor free of clutter like water bottles, bags, and jackets so your images stay clean and elevated.

When it’s time to dance, encourage guests to join you on the floor early. The more energy and movement, the more fun and candid the photos become. And don’t be afraid to sneak outside with me for a quick night photo if the moment feels right. Those little breath-of-fresh-air shots are often some of the most romantic from the entire night.

Above all, enjoy every second. Laugh, dance, hug your people tight, and let yourself be fully in the moment. I’ll be there capturing all the magic as it naturally unfolds.

AFTER THE WEDDING — WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once the celebration winds down and you’re soaking in that newlywed glow, I’ll take it from here. Within a few days, you’ll receive a small preview gallery filled with some of the sweetest moments from your day. These are perfect for sharing with family and friends while the excitement is still fresh.

From there, I carefully go through every image, selecting the very best ones and editing them with my timeless, true-to-color, soft, dreamy style. Your full gallery is usually delivered within 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the season, and will arrive in a beautiful online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.

If your package includes an album or any printed products, we’ll start designing those once your gallery is complete. I’ll walk you through each step so it feels simple and fun. Most importantly, know that your story doesn’t end here. These photos will become heirlooms you’ll love for years, and I’m always here for future milestones, anniversaries, babies, and every chapter that comes next.
